Farmer Rob!

We had our first night of Kidz Quest (and yes it is with a "z") at church last night! Our theme this year is cowboy! I decided to dress Rob up!
Although I think he looks more like a farmer! :)
The camera was too bright for him but he had fun! He looks like a biker here and he ended up pulling off of his head to chew on!
We went shopping with Aunt Lauren and Aunt Laura to look at stuff for their nursery. They tried a lot of the Halloween things on Rob! It was fun to look at all the different costumes. We are not sure what we are going to dress Rob up as for "Trunk or Treat" at church this year.
Megan told me about these snacks called Mum Mum. Rob loves them! He acts like he is such a big boy holding them and eating them all by himself!! :)
He is messy though!
Robs "cowboy" outfit didn't last long for church. He decided to pee all over it during a diaper change so we just wore this to church! :)
We decided to try Rob out with a sippy cup. He didn't like it the first time. But he is starting to get excited when he sees it because he knows there is juice in there! :)

We went to the green house with Grandpa Pape today. Rob loved all the different plants and flowers. He wanted to put each one in his mouth! He loved all of the bright colors so he wouldn't look at me for a picture!

Hair Trim!

Taking our morning picture to send to daddy while he is working! Rob was so excited!

If you notice Robs hair is rather long in this picture. It has gotten a little weird again since he is bald on the sides of his head so I decided to trim it up some. I am not counting it as his first hair cut yet since he only has hair on the top of his head! :)

All done! Looking even more like wade now!

I love this picture! My dad just got in from working in the yard and he was talking with Rob rocking him and he just sat smiling looking at my dad holding his face! :) Rob is a little messy because he was eating watermelon!

I walked in the bathroom and found Rob like this! :) Wade was filling his tub for him and he was just standing there waiting to get in! All those rolls you see are about all this skinny boy has on his body! :) I didn't know there was such a thing as skinny rolls! I just love it!!! :)

After his bath we put on a new pair of PJ's! He loved the little duck on his feet. He wouldn't sit up at all because he wanted to play with them!

And chew on them!

New Tricks!

It got chilly here so Rob got to wear his gap hoodie that someone gave us! He loves the long sleeves because he can pull them over his hand and chew on them! :)

We went shopping with wade to Farm and Fleet when he got home from work. We had to get stuff to clean saddles for our kids program. Rob loved sitting up in the shopping cart by himself!

He got to sit on the saddle for a while and help his daddy! :)

Saturday afternoon we had to set up some stuff at church. Rob had fun playing with Allie!

He showed her how to wrestle an alligator and how you bite them if them don't behave! :) He played on this for about 20 minutes! It was soaked by time he was done with it!

I really want the camera mom! Give it to me!!

oops I fell over!

This is the new process that Rob does when he gets up on his knees. I am glad my dad has a fast camera!

Then he gets tired and plops back down!!

But he is always happy! He has started now when he is up on his knees he scoots backwards before he lays back down. He is getting pretty good at scooting!

Here is a video of him in his Johnny jump up. He is getting pretty good at moving around in it. I am not sure why it is SO squeaky though. It needs oil or something! :)

Whenever Robs sees his blocks he wants to play with them now. He is doing good at picking them up. He tries really hard till he gets it.

He gives me this look when he knocks them over and I need to build them back up for him! :) He loves knocking them down but they get too far for him to reach without falling over.

Peek a Boo!

Rob loves chewing on his thumb now! It is his new favorite thing! He doesn't suck his thumb though. Sometimes it looks like it hurts though with how hard he is chewing!
He also likes to help me put laundry away which consists of him playing peek a boo and eating the clothes!
He thought it was the funniest thing that the sock was on his head! He kept pulling it down over his eyes and he would laugh and then move it off. He did this for about 20 minutes! :)
This little boy is not allowed to be left alone in his bumbo anymore. We were sitting at the table while I was working on stuff and Rob saw a bunch of paper behind him and he managed to get out of the bumbo!!!!!!!! Thankfully I was sitting there! But he twists himself like in this picture and pushes himself out somehow!

Sitting up like a big boy!

Rob wants to sit up all the time now or stand. He still falls over though! :) He refuses to lay down. He arches his back until I stand him up of let him sit! He is also starting to not like cuddling anymore when it is time to go to sleep. He wants to lay down and do it on his own! :(

He is talking and yelling a lot more now too. Here is a picture of him in action yelling! :) I'm not sure what he was excited about!

Once wade gets home from work he just wants his daddy! He gets so excited when wade calls and when he gets home he just starts smiling and talking to his daddy telling him all about his day!

I made some acorn squash the other day. Rob tried it and wasn't too sure about it. The next time he had it though he loved it.

It is amazing how fast they grow! He is starting to look like a big boy and he isn't our little baby anymore! :(

Rob loves to help me in the kitchen. He held the lid for me while I made a batch of bran muffins for wade! I had to wash it off when he was done with it though! :)

Rob got these blocks from someone and he loves them! I stack them up...

and he knocks them down! :)

We are very thankful that he sits and plays by himself for a long time. It makes it a lot easier to get things done around the house. I know it will all change once he starts moving around more!
