More phone pictures!

When the weather was warmer Rob would sit in the grass while we did yard work. He Loves to pull it out and look at it in his hands! :)

He loves chewing on apples. He gets apples (pureed of course) every morning for breakfast.

Starting early driving the car!

 I was in nursery one night and Ana took Robs pacifier. He couldn't get it back.

 So he gave up! :) They are about 2 1/2 months apart in age and Rob just stares at her when we are by her!!

 Rob doesn't really use his pacifier how he is supposed to anymore!

 This is also the new way he holds it! I guess it keeps him from dropping it!

 We went and tried on Halloween costumes at carters. I didn't decide on any one that we really liked but he did look cute in some of them! :)

 Since Rob goes backwards now he is always getting stuck under the couch! :) He thinks it is funny!

 Oh auntie Lyssa what are you doing to me!! :)

 Rob is starting to pull himself up on stuff.

Thankfully he is easily amused by things and I can just give him a bowl and spoon while I am cleaning the kitchen or cooking something! :) We had to move the swing because he was slamming into the door frame! :) So he can't sit in it anymore while I am in the kitchen! Maybe when he clams down some we can move it back! :)

Over the river and through the woods to visit Great Grandma Cook we go!

 We went to visit Grandma Cook today at her craft show. She was surprised at how big Rob has gotten since the last time she saw him. It was fun to spend the day with her and Kristy.

Rob is having fun hanging out with Auntie Lyssa! He just laughs and laughs at her.

 He was a little cranky in this picture because he needed a nap!

 I got all of these burp clothes for Laura and Lauren. Their showers are coming up soon.

 Grandma Cook had two of this kind. I LOVE this pattern combo she did. I am putting them in my away in my box for if and when we have a little girl! :)

 Little Gordie has a gourd! Pastor Jayson always calls Rob little Gordie! :) He had so much fun playing with these...

and of course chewing on them!!! :)

Apple picking!

 Saturday morning we went out to Indiana to an apple orchard and went apple picking for a few hours! Rob loved all of the trees and just being outside.

 We had a car full when we went. Rob had fun hanging out with uncle Chris!

 These two were on a mission when we got there! :) My dad and wade would disappear and then come back a few minutes later with 2 bags full of apples!

 Laura is due in a few weeks. We were talking about how much fun it is going to be next year with all the little ones running around the orchard. We decided next year though we need to go when it is a bit warmer!
                              
 Rob loved the apples! Wade took a bite out of one and Rob sat in the car with Grandma chewing on it! :)

 More apples from wade! In the time I find a good apple or two and pick it wade came back like this with about ten or fifteen! :)

Rob was so tired on the way home. This picture makes us laugh. His arms aren't in the sleeves that is just how my mom took it off of him! :) We have lots and lots of apples now. I am going to be doing stuff with them all week!

6 months old!!

 It is So hard to believe our little guy is 6 months old now!!! It goes by so fast!! We went to the doctor on Wednesday and Rob was 16lbs 8oz and 26.5 inches long. The doctor said everything looked great with him. He had to get his shots again! As he gets older he is starting to realize more what they are. He took a little bit longer to calm down this time.

 He is getting so big pulling himself up and moving so much more! Time to start making sure everything is really baby proof!! :) So far he has loved most of his food: green beans, acorn squash, and now sweet potatoes. He still won't eat bananas or peas so I am not going to force him to eat them.

 Rob is a daddy's boy!!  When he starts talking it sounds like he says "da dee" and "hi". We are not sure he knows what he is talking about but he does it all the time! :) His favorite time of day is when wade calls on a break Rob will get so excited and he kisses the phone over and over again because wades picture shows up on the screen.

I love this cute little boy!! :)

After eating a Mum Mum grandpa gave Rob a pickle!! He loved it! :)

This book is his favorite because it is soft enough for him to chew on! :)

He is becoming more of a drooler!

On Sunday wade dressed Rob up for the bears game!

He wasn't very excited to watch the game but he didn't mind wearing the outfit!

I love this little bottom!!!! :)

Rob got this toy that makes musical noise alls he cares about is the tag on there! :)

I don't know why I am blogging about this but I am. I make Robs baby food from scratch. We tried sweet potatoes for the first time.

First I have to peel the veggies and wash them.

Then I cut them up and steam them.

When they are done I puree them and freeze them in these trays.

This is what Rob does while I make his food! I have a very funny video of Rob eating the sweet potatoes but I need to put it on facebook because I can not get it to upload on the blog for some reason!

We tried bananas for the first time with Rob...I don't think he is a big fan of them!!! :) I love how he quivers when he takes a bite!

Playing while mommy cleans! :)

Someone stopped by and dropped off balloons for grandma...Rob LOVED them!! Mostly the ribbon but he did like the balloons too. He just stares at them!

Rob helped me try(key word) to make peanut butter bars for wade. They never seem to turn out right! Another thing for wade to look forward to when he goes home to visit cause I sure can't make them right! ;) Oh well! He still ate whatever it is that I made! 

We went out the other day and then helped grandpa with some yard work! It was so nice out!! Rob even got to go for a short ride on the tractor around the yard! He was really excited! :)

Rob sits in the laundry basket with all of the clean clothes while I do laundry! :) We had a busy past couple of days!! Thankfully I have my phone to take pictures with even though they aren't the best I can still capture funny moments!

On Monday we went downtown to sit at the hospital while my mom was in surgery. I did not like the idea of driving the suburban down town and trying to park it in a tiny parking garage so we took the train down town. This was Robs first time on the train! He loved watching the stuff fly by the window.

I didn't last long though because he discovered that Aunt Laura had a string on her jacket which occupied him for the last 45 minutes on the train! :)

When we got off the train and were walking around down town Rob had this goofy smile on his face!! He loved all the different sounds and was looking at everything and everyone!!

We had lots of fun in the waiting room waiting for grandmas surgery to be done!

He played a lot with grandpa and kept him busy!!

Even though we were busy the last two days going to the hospital down town Rob slept the whole way home with a smile on his face!
