Saturday in Colorado!

We went to a wedding last night. Rob didn't really want to look for most of the pictures! It was beautiful scenery though!!

Colorado!

Look who woke up on the plane ride! He was so happy and he was such a good boy on the plane! He slept some for both flights and did not cry at all!!

He loved looking out the window! He would get really excited!

We are having fun in Colorado playing with everyone!

Rob got to go on his first horse ride with wade. He just sat there chewing on his bib and didn't really notice where he was! :)

4 Month check up!

One benefit of Wade working nights he was able to go to Robs check up with us. He has not been able to go since Rob was 2 weeks old!

Rob weighed in at 13 lbs 15 oz and was 25 1/4 inches long! He did not gain much weight from last month but he grew almost 2 inches! He was So happy before he got his shots! Wade said he thinks it was harder on him than it was for Rob! He didn't let me hold Rob very long, he took him to calm him down!

The doctor gave us the go ahead to start giving Rob Rice cereal. I had a video but I can't get it to upload as usual! He got most of it on his face! :)

He was not too sure about it! He gave us this face a lot!

He enjoyed chewing on his bib more than anything! He did get quite a bit of the rice cereal off there though and ate it!!

He loves his new bib! He sits and just looks at it! :)

He was SO messy after eating he had to get a bath! He had so much rice cereal in the rolls of his neck! He loves to pick the wash cloth up and suck all the water out of it so I make sure I bring two wash cloths for bath time!

I don't know why I have never taken a picture of Rob in this! He is so cute! :)

One week from today we are going to be going to Colorado! We are so excited to see everyone! This will be Robs first time there and he also gets to meet his uncle andrew finally!! Wade can't wait for Rob to see a horse and sit on one! :)

Tuesday 7/20...I am awful at figuring out titles! :)

Wade is still working nights so Rob and I have been spending a lot of time together! :) We sure do miss having wade home though! Which is why we are SO excited for vacation!! We get 2 whole weeks with wade and family of course!

Rob took a long nap today while I went through all of his clothes! I just had to pack away more! He is growing so fast! I feel like I just packed away a ton of clothes last week and I am already doing it again! 

I LOVE the way he cuddles with his frog blanket!!! 

When Rob woke up from his nap today he was not a happy camper! He has been a little fussy lately and we don't know if it is his stomach or if he is getting teeth.

This is why we wonder if he is getting teeth!! I had just wiped him off and 30 seconds later he was covered in drool again!! :) He is chewing on everything! He especially loves to chew on our fingers! His gums are hard and his bite has gotten a lot stronger!! I gave him a cold teething ring today! He just sat there with it in his mouth and wouldn't do anything! It was like he was shocked at how cold it was. He ended up pushing it out of his mouth and didn't want to back! :)

He still loves standing so I had to get a picture of him in his cute pjs! He wouldn't look at me though because grandpa had the TV on and he is glued to it when it is on! :) I got out clothes for Rob the next size up! I absolutely love these pjs on him but this is his first time wearing them! They are a size 3-6 and they are so small on him! He may only get to wear them one more time before I have to pack them away too! It is so sad how fast he is growing but so exciting at the same time! Tomorrow we have his 4 month check up to see how big he is getting!! 

Rob loves his daddy!!

Rob loves standing! He gets mad sometimes when we make him sit! He loved standing all by himself! FYI don't stand a wiggly baby on a rocking chair! :) He would get so excited and the chair would start moving! :)

He is chewing on everything he can get his hands on!! We change bibs and outfits all day long!

Rob loves wade SO much! I love listening to him talking with wade and laughing with him! They will go on for so long laughing. This is just a short video cause wade walked away to do something! :)

Just another Thursday!

Rob helped me by supervising while I made blue berry pancakes for wade this morning! :)

He was also busy helping Grandpa get all the flies in the house! :)

Rob is 4 Months old today! His doctors appointment is not till next Wednesday so we will find out how big he is getting then!

He had so much fun with Wade today!

Wade even let him drive today! :) Teaching him at an early age! He didn't really want to hold on he just enjoyed leaning on the steering wheel! :)

My Love!!! Who is working night shifts and I can't sleep when he is gone! :)

God has truly blessed me with an amazing husband!

 Wade and I met through a friend, Eric. The first time we met we were both dating someone and we didn't really talk. I was working with Eric one summer with his lawn care company and Wade was in visiting and came to work with us. I remember Eric and I laughing at Wade because he was using the weed eater and he was wearing shorts and stuff kept hitting him in the legs! It was so funny to see him jump! The entire time we weren't working he was on the phone with his current girl friend. So I didn't know anything about him and didn't pay too much attention to him.

 When wade came back a few months later to visit we saw each other at my church. I remember he turned around and waved at me. I just waved and smiled back! My mom then asked me who he was and I explained and knew what she was thinking so I told her he had a girl friend! :) During church I noticed Wade put his arm around this beautiful blonde girl. I thought it was his girl friend with him. I was happy to know later it was his sister Megan and not a girl friend! Our friend Eric asked me to come down town with them that day. I wasn't going to because I didn't know anyone besides Eric, but I am glad I went! I remember wade sat by me on the train and we talked and laughed all day! I didn't think I even had a chance with him! He is SO handsome I knew he could date any girl! :) Wade was there visiting for a few days and we got to spend some time together! We talked about everything and anything! I loved how easy it was to talk to him! It was like we had known each other for a long time! I remember before wade left to go back home to Colorado he asked me if I was interested in dating him! I was So nervous but excited at the same time! We didn't know each other that well. the first month or so of us dating was long distance. We talked on the phone a lot. So we really got to know each other and I am so thankful for that! Wade later came to live in Chicago and then moved to Wisconsin to go back to school. We had talked about marriage and knew that God brought us together. I was so happy the on December 20th 2007 when wade got down on one knee in the cold wet rain and asked me to marry him!

Wade is such an amazing father too! He took such good care of me through the entire pregnancy. When we first met our precious little boy we both fell in love with him right away! Wade sits and cuddles with him and talks with him. Rob loves his daddy so much! It took a while for him to laugh with me but he sure loves wade and he smiles and laughs with him all the time! I love how rob knows when wade is around and his little head turns from side to side till he finds his daddy and when he does he gets a huge smile on his face! My amazing husband works So hard so that I can stay home with rob! He never complains about the long hours he works and even though I know he absolutely does not like his job he does not come home and complain about it and he continues to go to work every day and do the best he can at his job! Even after working long hours he still finds the time and energy to spend time with Rob and I!

July 11, 2008 was the day I married my best friend! I love every day that I have been able to spend with him and I love him more that I did on the day we got married! It is amazing how you can continue to love someone more and more everyday! God has blessed me with a wonderful godly husband who has a desire to serve God, and provide and take care of his family! My husband has taught me so much! He is my best friend and I am so thankful for him!
