Rob and I went out shopping this week trying to get all of the final things needed before his little brother gets here. He found a packet of crackers somewhere and crumbled them!

 He was not happy about all of the crumbs! :)

 On Wednesday the town road workers came to replace some pipes and Rob loved sitting and watching the guys and all the trucks.

 Rob lately has been enjoying all of these new things around the house! He tries to climb in everything! I had to put the swing and bouncer seat away because he climbs in them non stop. Hopefully he doesn't try to take his brother out when he is in them! :)

 He loves to wear other peoples shoes. He got in wades work boots but they were too heavy for him to move around so he just sat there looking at his feet!

 Rob has been showing a lot of interest in the toilet lately. So my mom suggested putting him on. He knows how to make himself go pee because whenever I take his diaper off he smiles and pushes and usually ends up peeing on me! But we sat him on the toilet and he went his first try! He was SO excited! Today wade was home during the day and I took Robs diaper off to change him and he ran away. We could hear him yelling for us. We found him in the bathroom standing in front of the toilet, but we didn't make it to him in time and he went on the floor. But at least he knows whats going on. We are not really pushing him to be potty trained already either. Right now it is just fun for him to be able to go like a big boy and if he wants to keep trying we will let him. Otherwise there is no rush because we know it is going to get busy around here in a little while! :)

 Swimming in the tub is the way to go now! :)

 We have an obsession! He LOVES to wash his hands!!! He just recently discovered how to pull himself up on the toilets and then he washes his hands on his own. We have been closing the bathroom doors behind us because he is very sneaky and quietly goes in, he would wash his hands for hours if we let him!

 My mom was telling me about training pants for Rob. I had no idea what she was talking about and couldn't find them. So she came home last night with some for Rob and also got him his first pairs of big boy underwear! He was SO excited to wear them. He was dancing around for us and kept looking at them. I have to admit I got a little teary eyed when I saw him in them! He's growing up so fast! Today I had to switch out all of his clothes. He is now wearing 2T/24 month. He was getting too tall for his 18 month clothes.

I took this cute little butt to the doctor yesterday. He has a rash on his bottom that is an infection and the doctor gave us a cream medicine to use and said it would be gone in a few days. Which it has already started clearing up thankfully! He also had a rash on his chest and arm which we found out is eczema. So we are using another cream for that. Plus to top it off we think he got whatever wade is sick with. He started running a fever last night. I can't stand when my baby is sick! So hopefully this all goes away very soon!

Vacation Part 2

 Once Rob got in the pool there was no getting him out! He absolutely loves to swim!!!

 Wade found him a thing that snaps around his chest and has the arm floats attached too. He could swim around in the deep end on his own and had no problem.

 We did run into the problem of when we would take him out of the pool he was not happy at all! :)

 Wade got a pretzel with cheese and rob decided to try it...

 Then he decided his granola bar would taste better dipped in cheese! He ate the whole thing too!

 There was this cement circle in the shallow end of the pool. Rob loved to stand up there and he would say "Ready, Set, Go!" and he jumps off to whoever is there. That phrase is his new favorite to say! If I tell Rob we are going to leave and going to the grocery store or something he gets in a running position and says it and takes off towards the kitchen door or wherever we are headed too! :)

 On our last day there we decided to get ready and go to the beach to take family pictures like last year. Rob was really excited about the lake, even though he hated it every other day of the week. Well he ran to the waves and went head first into the water!!

 So we figured we would take his soaking wet shirt off and attempt maybe one...it didn't happen he was too excited yelling about the waves and wanted to go play again.

 On our last night there wade took Rob to play mini golf. He had fun playing but didn't last long because we had to leave...he was trying to play with other people we didn't know and was getting in their way.

 His last ice cream cone of the week! It was so nice to relax and spend time together with just the three of us one last time before we become a family of four! Rob was spoiled a bit by us on vacation and he loved having his dad there non stop!

Family Vacation Part 1

 Last week we were on vacation in Michigan with my side of the family. Rob had fun in the car for about the first 1 1/2 hours...then he was ready to get out even though we still had an hour left! :)

 When we first got there wade took him down to the dock behind our house to feed the ducks. He was not so sure about the water at all!

 He loved feeding the ducks!

 Papa tried to show him what a fishing pole was...bad idea he just beat the dock with the pole and whacked grandpa a few times! :)

 Later that day we took him down to the lake. He did not like it at all!! He clung to wade .

 He did enjoy sitting on the swing and watching the water though.

 Rob loved helping his cousin out with whatever he needed.

 He even shared his peaches with him. When he would cry he would give him a pacifier or his bottles. So hopefully this is a sign of how he will help his new little brother soon! :)

 One night we went to a place near by that has games and go karts.

 They had this area where you can feed really big goldfish...Rob almost fell in the water that night! :)

 He was mad because wade wouldn't let him drive because he was winning the race! ;)

 Last year on vacation Papa put Rob in this swing for his first time ever...

 He got to play again with him this year on the swing! :)

 We did lots of swimming on vacation but Rob also loved the slides! He probably went down the slide at least 100 times! :)
