No Peas Please!!

Rob HATES peas!! :) Just like his daddy again! ;) He loves green beans but he refuses to eat peas. He bites down on the spoon and spits all the peas out! :)

We tried distracting him so he would open his mouth so we could get some in...

He was not a happy camper! 

I think he tries to make a little mess when eating so he gets a bath. But when he does like something he doesn't like to waste any of it! We can't feed it to him fast enough!

I never seem to have the camera at the right time. But Rob has figured out how to get up on his knees and hold himself up. It doesn't last very long because he isn't strong enough but he keeps trying.

We are having fun playing with Grandpa's new camera! :)

His other new favorite thing to do is stand up holding on by himself! He is no where near being able to pull himself up but he loves when we let him stand! He is still not very steady with things! Whether he is standing or sitting up by himself he sometimes gets really excited and waves his arms around and that is when he usually falls backwards! He has figured out how to go from a sitting position to his belly when he is trying to reach something. It is amazing how fast they pick up new habits and how quickly they develop them. 

Runny noses!!

Rob has a cold this week! Despite all the sneezing and runny nose he is still a happy boy!! you can see in this picture his runny nose! He is fine cleaning it off on my shirt! :)

I left Rob on the couch the other day while I went to switch a load of laundry. He some how managed

to get to the other side of the couch and get wades magazine! He obviously did not like the sports illustrated very much! ;)

It took a while for me to get the ink off of his face!

This was the end result of wades magazine that he did not get to read! Thankfully I took pictures so he knew it was not me who shred it! ;)

He is starting to sit up more now! I do have to keep something behind him though because he will just throw himself back when he gets excited about something!! 

5 Months Old!!!

Rob is 5 Months Old!! It is going by SO fast! I do not have a weight and length for Rob because he does not have an appointment this month. So i will try to figure it out from home this month! :)

He is getting so much stronger with holding himself up!

Rob was taking a nap today and I found him awake and chewing on his toes! I added a video of him enjoying his toes! :)

Michigan family vacation!

We got to spend time in Michigan this last week with my (beth) side of the family!

We got to go to Whippi Dip for ice cream and grandpa pushed Rob in the swing. It was his first time! He loved it and sat up the entire time!

The whole family got to come up for most of the week. My brother-in-law Tim is the only one who couldn't make it because of work. Don't ask me why the two pregnant ladies are the ones knelt down in front! :) But we all had such a good time together!

Rob finally got to meet his aunt Kimmy! He has so much fun with her because she would take him on walks and outside to play! He loved it!

We got to go to the pool and beach a lot this week! We could not get Rob in the pool without him crying though! The water was too cold for him. So he sat in his stroller and played with a book.

And he rolled around on the floor playing with toys! :)

Then finally our last day there. Grandma got him in the pool and he loved it! He swam around with wade for a while and swam with grandma pape for a long time!

He was so happy when he got out!

I went to the snack shop to get a water for wade and when I came back I found that Rob was given a piece of soft pretzel from his grandma!!! He was not happy when I took it away from him! :)

Rob had fun playing with grandpa pape! I laugh at the difference in color the two of them are! :)

Wade let Rob lay naked too long and Rob got him good! :) We will see if Wade does that again! :)

Rob knows how to get grandma to give him a bath! He got rice cereal all over him as usual so he got to play for a while!

Rob also got to meet his cousins Ryan and Matthew this week! It was so much fun to see them play!

You can't see it in this picture but Rob had a handful of Ryan's hair! One of his many new favorite things to do!

Our last night in Michigan we went to  the beach we decided to take some family pictures together.

Rob had SO much fun playing in the water with wade!!

He loves taking steps now when you hold him up so we let him walk on the beach some. He was laughing and having a good time! :)

I know this picture is weird but I still thought it was cute how tiny Robs feet are! :)

He was So sleepy after a full day at the pool and then playing on the beach with us! :)

From Colorado to Michigan!

We has So much fun in Colorado visiting with family!

Our last day there before we went to the airport we went to lunch and mini golf with Nana and Papa! Rob had fun laughing and playing!

After a very LONG time at the airport and missing a flight we finally made it home. We woke up nice and early to pack for Michigan!

He is getting to be such a big boy! He loves sitting up in chairs  by himself!

While we were in Colorado Rob got to experience many new things! It was so much fun to take him to the beach for the first time! He loved the water and the sand! Wade let him play in the sand and the first thing he did was reach down and get a hand full of sand and went straight for his mouth!! :)

It was a little windy but still fun! He prefers the lake over the pool!

I laid Rob down for a nap and I went in to check on him and found him laughing in his sleep! I had to get a picture of it! :)
