Such a big boy!

Rob is getting to be such a big boy! We never really paid attention to people saying it would go by fast but it really does!

This is a look we get a lot! He looks like he is trying to say Oooo! :) He is looking at the bright light and fan spinning around in this picture! :)

I think I left him in his bumbo too long one day! He was really happy when I finally took him out!

We put Rob in his smart step exerciser. He didn't grab at anything but he did like looking at all of it! His legs are getting stronger every day! He loves to kick and push off of things. Today we had him on his belly and he pulls his knees up to his chest and kind of throws himself forward. It kind of looks like it hurts but he keeps doing it! The way he is moving his legs he just seems like he wants to crawl SO bad! It will come soon enough though!

We found Rob sleeping like this when we went to get him up one morning! 

He LOVES being outside! He just laughs and talks and smiles the entire time even if no one is around him!

He is starting to use his thumb more! He will spit his pacifier out and start searching for that thumb!

He is growing up so fast! The way he responds to us now is so much fun! He is laughing at things we do now too! He has more of a squeal right now though! :)

Today we went to Uncle Billy's house to grill! It was pouring rain all day  but we still had fun! Rob was such a happy boy today! He loves all the attention he gets!

He was a little pooped out by time we got home! He had no more smiles left for us! :)
We just want to say Thank you to Uncle Andrew for serving our country! We love you and can't wait to see all of you in July!! :)

Long post! :)

Tuesday Morning Rob helped me in the garden pulling weeds! It was so hot out! He had to stay in the shade!

Tuesday night we went to the airport to welcome back great grandpa george. He flew to Washington for the day with a group that gives vets the opportunity to see monuments! As a surprise all the family shows up to welcome back the vets like when they were welcomed back from war! 

He was so surprised to see us there! 

Rob was so thirsty on the way home we got him a big drink! :)

I was laughing so hard wednesday morning when I went to go get rob up! He curls his legs up and pulls them out of the legs all the time but this time he got his foot out between the snaps! :)

It has been nice and warm here. Rob got to wear some of his new summer outfits! Some of his stuff is a little tight with his cloth diapers on! :)

He fell over when I was taking a picture! He looks like he is ready to box! :)

We went for a LONG walk on Wednesday. I think the warm weather helped him fall asleep!

He was such a good boy sitting in his bumbo for a very very long time while I tried to straighten things out with the Bank and the hospital!

Today we went to lunch with our friends Breanna and Olivia. Rob was such a good boy!

I took him on a short walk when we got home. He loves being outside! Every time I put a hat on him he laughs! :)

Monday night softball games!

Wade had a softball game tonight so Rob had to wear his baseball outfit today! It was 95 here today so we went with no pants on for him! :)

Hanging out with wade again! As the game went on they turned the lights on out in the field! Rob loved those and wouldn't take his eyes off them! :) We have a lot more games to go to the summer!

He LOVED being outside! It was nice and hot out but we did get a nice breeze as the game started!

When we got home he was content laying in his diaper looking at the fan! :) We had a fun day!

Sunday

This morning Rob was a little sad every time I put him down! Wade had to leave early because we had friend day at church and he had to pick up some of the van kids. So I was running around getting ready and I had to set him down a few times! He was a little sleepy! Thankfully he got over it quickly! 

Then I get the blank stare! I couldn't get him to smile for anything! And yes his collar is up because of his father! There is a little boy named Jack in our church and he is a cute 6 year old! When we found out we were pregnant wade said if it is a boy he wanted him to be cool like Jack and dress like Jack! ;) So Jack always has his collar flipped up so wade decided to try it out on Rob today!

There's the smile! :) We love how the littlest things make him smile! 

It was nice and sunny here today so Rob wore his hat! 

This picture makes him look so chubby! We love his big belly! ;) I am not sure what it is about this outfit but today and last time Rob wore it he had big leaking poops! :) Last time he pooped all over wades lap at church (on his new suit). Today I caught it in time and we only had a tiny leak which dripped on my foot when I was carrying him and I had flip flops on!!

We had to change his outfit when we got home from church! It was in the 90's today so we put on a short outfit! I love him in Polo outfits especially when I didn't have to pay for them! :) Hand me downs are GREAT!

His legs are getting so strong! He loves when we stand him up. He is kicking and pushing off of things with his feet.

He was back to his blank stare again! He just sits and looks at wade when he talks to him. After I put the camera away he smiled!
Oh by the way this picture was taken after he spit up and pooped on our bed!!!!!! Thankfully he is so cute we can laugh it off! :) I will be washing the sheets tomorrow!

Wade's back!!

Rob slept 7 hours straight last night! He usually only goes 5 so i was a little worried when I woke up! He just wanted to sleep so bad! :)

Olivia came over to visit again today. Her mom had to go somewhere so she spent a few hours with us!

Grandma pape thought it would be funny to try olivias hair bow on...wade didn't think it was too funny! It's a good thing he still looks like a boy even with the silly bow on!

We were so bored with out wade home! 

We went to lunch with Grandma and Aunt Lauren before Wade got home.

We went out to get ice cream and went for a walk. It was so nice out! Finally no rain!

This picture cracks me up! He was making the funniest faces in the car!

He seemed really scared when the flash went off! :)
But we had a fun day and we are glad wade is back home! :)

Just Rob and Mom

We went out to dinner last night with my parents so I sat in the back with Rob. He was going crazy chewing on his frog blanket! :)

When I asked him what he was doing I got this look!  He just sat there looking at me like what I'm not doing anything! :) At one point he had almost the whole hand in his mouth!

He finally figured out how to get his thumb in his mouth. Before he would make a fist and just suck on his hand or all of his fingers.

Wade is gone on a golf outing with church till tomorrow afternoon so Rob and I have been spending all day with just the two of us. He was so serious all day! He was sleepy too, not sure if it was all the rainy weather! We didn't do too much because of the rain. Aunt Lauren came over for a little bit. Lots of playing and cuddling today! :)

I got a half smile from him before he went to bed! He was happy to lay and watch the fan for a little while! :) We are excited for wade to come home tomorrow! It's just not as fun without him!

Quick Post

Today we had Rob's 2 month visit! He is now 11lbs 2oz and 22 3/4 inches long! the doctor asked if I was giving him some sort of miracle grow! :) He gained 2.1lbs in a month and grew 1 1/4 inches. He had to get his shots today! When the nurse stuck the first needle in it took him a second to realize what was going on and then he was not happy at all! He had to get three shots total! :(

When she was all done I gave him his paci and picked him up and he stopped crying. He has been a little fussy tonight but not too bad! Our next visit is not till July 19, which is 1 week before we get to go to Colorado!!!!!!

On a side note Rob is now the size that his uncle Billy was at birth!! Bill was only 22 inches long but he did weight 11 pounds! :)

If I could have uploaded the video it would be better but instead a picture! Whenever the water turns on in the tub Rob gets really excited and starts kicking his legs and today he pulled his paci out and was whipping it around!

Today he sat in his swing for about 2 hours just looking at the bright lights while I cleaned the house! :) He wouldn't take his eyes off of them!
