Not working yet again!!

I have more videos I would like to upload but for some reason I can't because it won't give me the option! So here are some pictures! Rob loves his little frog blanket! I love when I find him cuddling it! :)

Although he is still pretty skinny the boy has a big belly! Especially when it comes time for a diaper change he just pushes that thing out! I have a few more newborn diapers left but we will be moving up to the size one when they are gone! Even though his waist is tiny I feel bad putting the newborn diapers on him because they look so tight! :)

He seems to be growing so fast! We have had a lot of changes this week!! He is smiling a lot more when we talk to him! He has been getting so mad when I take him out of his bath tub! He LOVES to just lay there and once I lift him out he starts screaming! We have also moved him up some in clothing! He is getting too long for his newborn stuff! Especially if there is feet on the pants he can't even stretch his legs out completely because there isn't enough room so they stay slightly bent! :) So no more newborn footed pajamas!
Tonight is also a very sad night! He is going to be sleeping in the nursery in his crib starting tonight! He was sleeping in the bed (I know I am a bad mother for doing that!) but he has figured out how to scoot all the way next to me and roll over and bury his face in my side! I was laughing so hard this morning because I woke up moved him back to the middle of the bed. I got up to go use the bathroom and when I came back he was on my side. I stood there watching him for a minute and he would scoot an inch and let out this little cry and then scoot another inch and let out another little cry! I couldn't help but laugh! Hopefully I can get the videos on soon!

Rob really likes his pacifier!

This video is a few weeks old. Rob had just started picking his head up where he could hold it for a while.

We had my sisters wedding this weekend! It was very busy! Rob met lots of new people! :) Thus is a new outfit someone gave him.

This is victoria Mikes niece. She is 2, she loved Rob she kept pointing at him saying baby over and over again! She was so excited when she got to hold him!

Rob and I went out today. He loves his little froggie blanket! I always find him snuggling with it!

We were in the store and I was waiting for my mom Rob kept giving me this look like can we go now! :)

He is starting to fit in his adorable robe! It was very difficult to get this picture with him being modest! He kept sticking his legs up in the air which is usually when he goes to the bathroom on me with no diaper on! :) I will put up pictures from the wedding later. I have to sort through them! 

Crazy busy week!

Rob has been doing this a lot this week! :) I think he is a little tired from all we have been doing! We have been out shopping running around getting stuff for Laurens wedding. Today was pretty busy getting stuff set up and the rehearsal, Tomorrow is the wedding. I have not really had time to take pictures this week but I am sure we will get plenty tomorrow. :)

Busy Wednesday :)

Sometimes in the morning when I get ready I lay Rob on the rug on the bathroom floor and he just looks around. Sometimes he forgets I am in there so when I talk to him I scare him and he jumps! :)

This morning wade called while he was on break! I told Rob I was talking to his daddy and every time I said daddy he gave me an adorable smile! :) He got really excited this morning!

We had a long day of running around shopping! We have aunt Laurens wedding this Saturday and had to get a few things! Rob was a little worn out by the end of the day so he went to bed early! :)

The nursery

Here is Robs nursery! He is already a month old and we still are not done! :) We are trying to find a cute growth chart and some sort of shelf. Really we don't know what we want and I am terrible at decorating! :) Wish someone could do it for us!

Our little boy is getting so big! When I put this outfit on him today I couldn't get over how cute he looked! Then I found him cuddling his little frog blanket! :)

1 Month Checkup

We had to strip him down as usual! He is starting to get chubby as you can see in this picture! :)

He has a big belly developing! :) He weighed in at 9lbs 1 oz and 21 1/2 inches long! When we went in when he was 2 weeks old he weighed 7lbs 5oz and 20 1/2 inches long. So he had no problem putting the weight on this time!! The doctor said it is ok to start letting him sleep through the night!!!!! Yippie!! We had been waking him up to feed him but obviously he is getting enough! :) 

And he did develop a cinnamon roll belly button like someone else..I won't say who! :)

He just got a bath and this is how his hair dries!! Even though it is really curly when we first get out!

1 Month Old Today!!

Getting so Big! Rob has his 1 Month checkup on Monday! We are excited to see how much he has grown!

Looking Back

Tomorrow our little guy will be 1 month old!! Where the time went I have no clue! I look back at the first ultrasound picture we got of him! The feeling you get when you first find out you are pregnant, first time you hear the heart beat, first ultrasound, first kick, the first cry, and holding that little one in your arms for the first time! It is such overwhelming joy to experience each one of those!

Looking back it was a LONG pregnancy! On July 24th, 2009 is when we first found out we were pregnant.From the start we were told that they baby probably wouldn't develop and not to expect a heart beat, God gave us this baby and on August 29th, 2009 is when we first saw our little one! The doctor looked shocked to see the baby developing and having such a strong heart beat! 

On September 21st, 2009 is the first time we were able to his his strong little heart beating at 156 bpm!

November 1st, 2009 while sitting in church is the first time I felt him move! I remember my eyes just filled with tears! I told wade we had a future preacher on our hands! :)

The first time I got sent to the hospital at 26 weeks with high blood pressure was tough! I remember sitting there trying to figure out what I was doing wrong, why this was happening! When we got sent home we were thankful we didn't have to meet our little one too early! 

Then at 28 weeks when my doctor did an ultrasound because I was experiencing problems, he found the hole in my water bag and the fluid levels were low. I remembering sitting there and the doctor just grabbed my hand and said "I am sorry I wanted this to be the best pregnancy for you! We are going to have to deliver this baby and if the baby makes it you will have a long road ahead of you." I remembering sitting there and that word IF replayed over and over and over in my head! What could he possibly mean by IF?! We were transported to the top hospital downtown Chicago. After many days of observation and tests and many many prayers we were told the good news that the hole resealed itself and they were sending me home on strict bed rest! We couldn't believe it! We had so many people praying for us and it was truly an answer to prayer!

Then we had about three more trips to the hospital because my blood pressure kept going up! :)

On Sunday March 14th after we got home from church that night I told wade I thought my water broke. He wanted to go straight to the hospital! But after my MANY stays in the hospital I asked him if we could just wait till the morning and I would call the doctor. Monday morning I called the doctor made an appointment. At 11:45 my doctor told me my water broke and I would be having a c-section that night! 

On March 16th, 2010 at 9:28 PM we heard that first cry and we got to meet our little man! :)

I have been asked many times if it was worth it or if I will ever want anymore children. 

It was a very very long and scary pregnancy! There were so many nights where I sat crying trying to figure out what I was doing wrong or what I could do to keep him healthy and safe.

 One of the hardest things for me to do was to just let go and stop worrying and completely trust that whatever happened was all part of Gods plan! I still had some worry if my little one was going to be ok! But the whole pregnancy tested my trust in God! My relationship with God became stronger. Wade and I became closer than we already were! I spent many days and nights just praying asking God to help me put complete trust in Him!

So would I do it all over again?! YES in a heart beat! Every tear, every hospital stay, every hospital bill is all completely worth it!

 Our doctor is an unsaved man. Through all of this he was able to meet with our pastor several times. By the end of our pregnancy the doctor was saying the man upstairs must have heard all your prayers because that is the only reason I can think of why you made it this far! 

So even though we may never completely understand why everything happened the way it did I am thankful for the witnessing opportunity it is to my doctor. I pray that God will continue to use us as a witness to him and that maybe one day we can see him accept Christ!

And the JOY of us having our little man here!!! We would go through it all again for him!! We will go through it all again for any other children if God blesses us with more! 

I just sit and stare at Rob ALL day! I never get much done! But I look at him and I thank God everyday for him! He is such a blessing to us and we love him SO much!

Bath Time

Rob loves his baths now! He just lays there in the water and when I start to drain out his tub he starts crying! So I give in and plus it and refill the tub for him and let him soak! :)

I don't let him stay in too long because as you can see in the picture he turns his head and drinks the water! He got a little bit too much today and spit it back up! :)

You can't see how tiny his waist is because his diaper is on but you can see how round his belly is getting! :) And he may be developing a "different" belly button like his father! We will have to wait and see! :)

The ladies did a cute safari theme like his nursery! It all turned out so cute! One of the ladies drew this on the chalk board in the children's ministry room!

Erin found the cutest top and boots for Rob! Wade wants to get a pair of wranglers for him to wear with them this summer! :)

We had such a wonderful time!

We have been truly blessed and we Loved All of the gifts we have been given! He is still our biggest blessing to have him here and healthy!!!

Sneak Peak!

Here is one of Robs pictures that were taken. We didn't use this one on the birth announcement but we still love it! :)
It is amazing how quickly he is growing and changing!! Rob is loving laying on his belly and picking his head up. He doesn't hold it up very long but he keeps trying! Tonight wade laid him on his back on the bed and he rolled over onto his belly(which I missed)!
He is also starting to almost sleep through the night about 6-7 hours. We only wake up once for a feeding and during the day he is staying awake more!
His cheeks are getting chubby! :) We are also starting to notice a second chin coming in! Other than that he is still a long skinny boy! :)
