Trip to the zoo!

 Last night Wade and Rob watched the twins game together! A friend from church got Rob his very own twins hat because he knew how much his daddy loves the team! :)

 Today we decided to go to the zoo with Nana. We also go to go with Aunt Lauren, Gabriel, Uncle Chris, Aunt Laura, and Payton.

 While we were getting ready this morning I couldn't find my tooth brush. So I asked Rob where is was (he likes to take them out of the drawer sometimes) so he walked me to the living room and showed me where he put it for me! :)

 He was SO excited to be at the zoo!!

 It was a very warm but fun day!!

 Rob loved going in the bird house. He loves to sit in our living room and look for birds with his Papa so it was exciting to him to see such big birds and so many!

 He also loved this wall of holes to stick your head through! :)

 Aunt Lauren was hiding behind the wall and would randomly pop her head out and Rob thought it was the greatest thing ever!!

 He would run from one hole to the next trying to find her!

 There were a lot of animals that Rob was not really in to. He did however love the bears! He would run up to the glass windows and make his version of a bear noise!

 We also got to see a bunch of wild dogs. Rob sat barking at them trying to get them to respond.

We had such a fun time with everyone. Rob had fun exploring the zoo and seeing all the animals! :)

 I love how Rob can have fun playing in the car...

 then he is fast asleep the next second! :)

 On the 4th of July wade and Rob worked in the garden for a little while. He took a break and ate some fluffy jello.

 That night we went to fireworks in a town near by and we had some time to waste so wade got Rob and ice cream cone.

 I know the picture is dark, but Rob had SO much fun!! He would explain to us over and over again what the fireworks did. He raises his hands in the air and says "up" and then "Boom" and he would laugh!

 Rob is addicted to watermelon lately! :)

 Robs new big boy room! The book case is what we were given by that lady who gave us all that furniture. It goes with a TV cabinet and china hutch but we are not using those right now so we decided to use it in his room.

 We went with a sports theme. Rob was SOOOO excited when we put the wall decal up. He almost passed out with excitement over all the different balls! :)

 Still loves to put Everything in his mouth!!! :)

 Rob likes to lean forward in the bath and try to eat the bubbles and blow bubbles lately! :)

 Rob loves his dogs! He carried them around with him all day.

Today Gabriel came over to hang out while Lauren worked. Rob was ready for a nap and decided to share the pillow with him! :)

 Yesterday Rob and I went shopping with my mom. We went to target and stopped in the vision center while my mom looked at glasses and I thought it was so cute that they have little kids sun glasses! :) They were very expensive and Rob loved them...but they went back on the rack! :)

 We went to Steak and Shake for lunch. Rob had a lot of fun playing with everything.

 He got to eat more ketchup while we were out, I think he would eat just ketchup if I let him! He got a little too much with this bite! :)

 Last night Wade and my dad had a side job they did after dinner. So we went to the park and played for a while and then met them for ice cream. Rob loved being able to hold his own ice cream cone!

 He LOVES to collect sticks! I have quite a few in the back seat of my car!

He also started saying Goodbye instead of just bye. Today we cut out all bottles during the day and he has done great! He is actually eating more! He gets his milk in a sippy cup during the day. He gets 1 bottle in the morning and 1 at night.
Tonight is also going to be a big change. Rob is going to be sleeping in his big boy bed tonight. His new bedroom is almost all finished! His room is all painted and we got the bed ready with his new bed rail. We still have to finish his dressers and hang some stuff on the wall.

 Wade had one day off work this week so he decided we should go to the park.

 Rob had so much fun running around playing on everything! He especially loved that his daddy was there to do everything with him!! :)

 We had lunch at the park. Rob did not care too much about his food because there were SO many kids there playing!

 Rob wears this hat when he is outside for a long time. The day before Rob wore it while cutting the grass with wade.He decided to put it on because he thought we should go outside! He kept saying "Dada go out, Dada go out!" and he was trying to open the door.

 When I told him that Dada was not home and we couldn't go out he pulled his hat down over his face and wasn't very happy. Then he ran over by the door and threw his hat on the floor and ran away crying Dada! He is his daddy's little buddy! :)

 Always working hard!! :)

This is what happens when mommy is home alone with Rob and decides to paint! :) We are trying to get Robs new room all ready and switch him over to his big boy bed. He tripped on something and his face hit the wall! :) He cried for a second but he thought it was really funny when he saw his face! Then he helped me paint another coat over his face print on the wall! :)

 On our way home from Colorado while in the denver airport Rob figured out his finger fits up his nose!! :)

 We had family coming to visit so Rob and I did some yard work!

 All boy!! :)

 It was my aunts birthday while they were here visiting and Rob was excited we gave him a piece of cake. He didn't eat it just smashed it with his fork!!

 He decided to help me clean and got the garbage bags out of his closet and unrolled the whole thing! :) He really likes them because they smell like lavender.

 Rob decided one night he was not tired at bed time. So while everyone else was sleeping we played in his room.

 He has been such a picky eater lately so I made him a fruit smoothie and he loved it. Good way to get lots of fruit in him!! :)

 Saturday we did some yard work and it was hot out. We hooked up the sprinkler for the first time and he loved it!!

Wade went fishing saturday night with Dave. So Rob got to play in the boat for a little while before they left!

Rob has been talking nonstop lately!! Here is a short video of the serious discussions we have! :)
He has learned a lot of new words lately too. Just over this weekend he started saying ball, balloon, sit down, and book.
