Robs new hair cut!

This is how crazy Robs hair has gotten! Wade wanted me to let it grow because it was curling in the back.

But the front was really straight and long. So wade decided when he got home from work last friday that it was time for a hair cut.
Here is our ever so handsome little boy with his first buzz cut. Rob sat on my lap while wade cut his hair. He looks so much older with his hair cut...in my opinion! :)
Rob loves his grandpa phone pouch so he thinks he is a big shot when he get to wear it and carry around grandpas phone! :)

 Calling China I'm sure...

Robs cousin gabriel came over to play for a while. Rob is doing so well with being gentle with smaller babies...which I hope stays that way! But he would walk over to his cousin and hug him and give him a big open mouth kiss on his head. Then he would walk away and clap because he knew he was being a good boy and was gentle! :)
This is just another realization that my little boy is growing up. He use to have to struggle and stand on his tip toes to just get one finger up there to hit a key. Now he just stands there and plays with both hands!! I was curious to see how much he has grown since his 1 year check up so I laid him down a marked like they do and the doctors office and he has grown 1 1/2 inches in the last month and a half.

Rob was real quite last night and I found him emptying his grandpas wallet! :)

It is slowly starting to warm up again outside so Rob and I played outside for a while today and he helped me cut the grass...he never turns down an opportunity to ride the lawn mower! :)

Monday morning I had a lot of running around to do. Rob and I went to the grocery store and he had been so good all day and was so excited when he saw this ball...it was only .98 cents so I didn't mind buying it for him!
He now takes off and goes where ever he wants in the yard. He is getting pretty fast!

On mothers day at church the nursery workers did all of the little kids hand prints and gave us this little poem. I love his chubby little hands! The ladies in the nursery said he cried because they got his hand covered in paint and he was fine once they washed it all off! :)
Monday night Rob and I went to watch wade play softball...but he didn't watch!  He loved the little pebbles every where. At times he was laying flat on his stomach scooting himself around!
Monday night we drove down with wade to Indiana where he was working for the week. We got to stay with him for 2 nights which was SO nice! He has been going out of town a lot lately and Rob loved the extra time with his daddy.
 He was bored! :)
Rob and I would hang out in the room or at the mall during the day and then spent time with wade when he was done working. He was so excited to go swimming with wade!

Wade would push him around the pool like this and he loved it!
After a fun night of swimming we went to dinner and then walked around the mall for a little while...it doesn't take much for his daddy to buy him a sucker! :)
This morning was our last time at the hotel before we went home. Rob sat and watched cartoons while I packed. I think he really loved having a tv in the room.
When we got home he decided to unpack the suit case for me...and then he fell in! :) This is him trying to get out...I did not get the camera out fast enough to get a picture of him completely stuck in there.
I know this may be a weird picture to you but Rob fell asleep on my bed and I had to take it. Lately I just sit and stare at him while he is sleeping and I just can't believe how big he is getting!! He is not a baby anymore(but he will ALWAYS be my baby)! I laugh looking back at how excited we were when Rob would do something new and we couldn't wait for him to crawl or walk. Now I look at him and I want him to stop growing! It is going by so fast!!! We are so thankful for the healthy little boy God gave us!
On Sunday for Mother's day pastor taught on the heart of a mother. It was a great reminder of what our priorities should be and how great of an influence mothers have on their children. I can try my hardest to teach Rob new things. The greatest way I can teach him is by example! He is young, but he watches Everything I do and sometimes copies me. I am so thankful that God shows us through his word what we should be doing and for the mothers he gave us that we can always turn to for advice. We are so thankful that God has even allowed us to have children and that Rob is healthy. I would love for Rob to grow up and excel at many things but the greatest of all would be to see him accept Christ one day and live his life for him! I am so thankful for the reminder of how I should be living my life so that it is an example to him and I am not just telling him, but showing him.
Here is a little poem our pastor shared on sunday.

Little Eyes Upon You.

There are little eyes upon you
and they're watching night and day.
There are little ears that quickly
take in every word you say.

There are little hands all eager
to do anything you do;
and a little boy who's dreaming
of the day he'll be like you.

You're the little fellow's idol,
you're the wisest of the wise.
In his little mind about you
no suspicions ever rise.

He believes in you devoutly,
holds all you say and do;
He will say and do in your way
when he's all grown up like you.

There's a wide-eyed little fellow
who believes you're always right,
and his eyes are always opened,
and he watches day and night.

You are setting an example
every day in all you do
so you should be aware that,
he will grow up to be like you!

Helping mommy make banana bread! Rob loves to mix things for me. He is actually very good at it and doesn't stick his hand in the mix....which I am very thankful for! :)
I had to take this picture...I dressed my child kind of dorky this week! He got his gym shoes all muddy so we were going out to the grocery store so I threw a pair of too small sweat pants, socks, and sandals on him! He was not a big fan of the socks with sandals...and neither was his father! :)
We got to sit outside Friday morning and eat our breakfast it was so nice out.
While doing some yard work Rob found a puddle and decided to play in it!

He had such a good time and was very muddy and dripping wet when he decided he was all done! I am glad I have learned to let him get messy because he is all boy and he is very good at it!!
 Helping daddy on the deck!
He was wore out from his big day of playing and working outside with daddy! He slept on the couch for almost 3 hours.

Rob picked up a new dance move! He plays his "Old McDonald" song and stomps his foot! :)
Stealing my starbucks!!!! :) Good thing I have to have decaf right now or he would be crazy!!
I am glad Rob still likes his easter basket and eggs so much! He likes to carry them around the house and take them outside! Good to get more than one use out of them for the year!
Today Rob helped his grandpa plant a bush. He was good at spreading the dirt around.
He also showed grandpa where the water needed to go! :)

Sorry for my awful singing in this one but Rob Loves to wear my sunglass and if I sing to him he does this little dance! He is so cute!! :)

Rob at I stopped at Jamba Juice this past week while out shopping. I thought it was funny he was holding the cup with his feet while drinking it!
It rained a lot last week and Rob didn't care. Every time we went outside to get it the car he would take off into the yard to go play even if it was pouring...which was not fun chasing him and getting soaked! :)
Robs cousins having been using this...he got a little jealous and wanted to get in!
He was so tired he laid his head down on my pillows while standing and fell asleep! :)

Rob was SO happy on Saturday because it was finally nice out! He Loved that papa got the tractor out!!
He got to ride on the tractor and "help" cut the grass. He even fell asleep while riding the tractor...he just didn't want to get off it was so much fun!!
This picture is mainly for wades parents. But wade finished all of the landscaping at my parents house and he also finished the deck. Alls he has left to do is build two gates for the stairs and stain the deck. I am very thankful to have such a hard working husband!
Now I may be crazy but I sure do think these kids are going to look alike!! :) This is baby #2 at 20 weeks...
and this was Rob at 20 weeks! :)

I am not sure what Rob was doing. I think he was just excited to be outside he was doing a little happy dance! :)

TURN YOUR COMPUTER VOLUME WAY DOWN FOR THIS NEXT VIDEO!!!! :)

Rob was SO excited about a paper airplane his papa made. This scream is his new favorite thing to do when he is really excited!!
